Lidl Connect uses the eir mobile network, giving customers access to extensive 4G and 5G coverage across Ireland.

Use the coverage map below to check the expected mobile coverage available in your area. The map provides an indication of 3G, 4G and 5G coverage and should be used as a guide only. Actual coverage and service availability may vary at a specific location or address.

Mobile signal strength and data speeds can be influenced by a number of factors, including your device, the number of people using the network nearby, local terrain, buildings, trees and other physical obstructions.

Coverage indoors can also vary depending on the construction and insulation of the building.

3G network switch-off

From 1 October 2026, the 3G network will begin switching off 3G mobile data service as part of ongoing improvements to the core 4G and 5G network.
