Family Carers Ireland FREE to use Supports and Services:
Family Carers Ireland (FCI) is the national charity dedicated to supporting family carers and young carers across the country. Family Carers Ireland provide support to people who care for loved ones dealing with additional needs, physical or intellectual disabilities, palliative care needs, chronic illnesses, mental health challenges, addiction, or those who are frail older people.

Heart of Gold Day
Heart of Gold Day takes place on June 11th. This is Family Carers Ireland's largest annual fundraiser.
There will be collections in all Lidl stores and communities raise vital funds for emergency respite and support services.

A Bouquet of Thanks for the Hidden Frontline
This National Carers Week, Lidl Ireland is proud to shine a light on Ireland’s hidden frontline of more than 500,000 family carers. As part of our "We Care Back" campaign, we are supporting those who provide vital, unpaid care to loved ones every day.
Family carers are the backbone of our communities, caring for children and adults with additional needs, disabilities, or chronic illnesses. Through our partnership with the national charity, Family Carers Ireland, we’ve will have raised €2 million by 2027
How You Can Help
During National Carers Week (8–14th June), you can show your support by purchasing our limited-edition National Carers Week Bouquet. For every bouquet sold, €1 will be donated directly to Family Carers Ireland to fund essential lifelines and ensure no one has to care alone.
