Welcome to Lidl Foodies!
Lidl Foodies is a free educational programme for children aged 4–7 that brings healthy and sustainable eating to life through fun, hands-on learning experiences. Designed to support the Irish Primary Curriculum, the programme helps children explore fruit and vegetables, learn where food comes from how not to waste it, and develop positive attitudes towards healthy eating from an early age.
Through three engaging stages, children become “Foodie Detectives” as they taste, grow and create with fresh produce. Activities are linked to key curriculum areas, including Science, Social, Environmental and Health Education (SESE), and Social, Personal and Health Education (SPHE), while encouraging curiosity, observation, communication and key developmental skills.
Alongside free classroom resources and activity packs, teachers can apply for a limited number of Lidl gift cards to purchase fruit and vegetables, helping bring Lidl Foodies to life through fun, hands-on experiences.
Launching on September 15th 2026! Learn more by clicking here.
