Click, Reserve & Collect is a brand new feature on Lidl Plus which allows you to reserve some of our most sought after items before they go on general sale.
1. Reserve our newest and most sought after items before anyone else.
2. Avoid queueing on general sales dates, safe in the knowledge you have an item reserved.
3. No payment required until collection – pay at the till in your selected store on pick-up day.
The Click, Reserve & Collect feature can be found on the homepage of the Lidl Plus app. Here you will be able to find all items available to reserve.
Simply select the item you’d like to reserve, the store you’d like to collect from, and confirm your reservation!
No payment needed.
A confirmation email will then be sent with collection dates.

You can reserve your Christmas turkey on the Lidl Plus app from 1st to 14th December
Collection takes place between from 20th to 22nd December, so your turkey is fresh and ready to cook for Christmas Day.
Reserve early — the turkeys may sell out fast!
As a general guide, allow about 0.45–0.6 kg (1–1.3 lb) of turkey per person.
For 10 people, that’s roughly a 4.5 kg–6 kg (10–13 lb) bird.
If you prefer more leftovers, go for the larger size or a crown plus a joint.
A confirmation email will then be sent with collection dates.
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C (Fan 160 °C).
- Season the cavity and skin with herbs, butter, salt, and pepper.
- Cover loosely with foil for most of the cooking time, then remove foil for the last 30 minutes to crisp the skin.
- Rest the turkey for at least 30 minutes before carving to keep it juicy.
Defrost in the fridge, allowing 24 hours per 2–2.5 kg of turkey.
For example, a 6 kg bird will take around three days to thaw completely.
Always place it on a tray to catch any juices and check it’s fully defrosted before cooking.
Store cooked turkey in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 2–3 days. If you won’t use it within that time, freeze it for later.
Yes. Once cooled, freeze cooked turkey within 2 days of cooking.
Use airtight containers or freezer bags, label with the date, and consume within 3 months.
Defrost thoroughly in the fridge before reheating until piping hot.
