Honey and Soy Duck Breast with pineapple and sticky garlic beans


  • 1 pkt of Deluxe Marinated DuckBreast Fillets
  • 1 pkt Fresh Green Beans trimmed
  • 1 bunch of Spring Onions trimmed,rinsed and cut into quarters
  • 1 Solo Garlic peeled and finely sliced
  • 1/2 Red Chilli deseeded and sliced
  • 1 tbsp of Primadonna Extra VirginOlive Oil
  • 20g Dairy Manor Butter
  • 6 tbsps Light Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsps Kilderg Honey
  • 120mls Water
  • 100g Harvin Pineapple Pieces
  • Kania Salt & Pepper


  1.  Set your oven to 180oC
  2. Start by trimming your duck all around the edges and the sinew on the flesh side then season lightly. Place on a roasting tray skin side up and in the oven for 10 minutes. Strain all the fat off the duck then spoon the honey and soy sauce over the top
  3. Add the pineapple to the tray then cook fora further 8 minutes basting once during this time. Remove duck from the oven and allow to rest in a warm place whilst you cook the vegetables
  4. Add the oil and garlic to a pan and cook until golden in colour over a medium heat. Next add the butter and chilli then the beans,spring onions and water. Season and cover tightly with a lid then cook on a very high heat for 3-4 minutes until the beans are cooked and they start to glaze with the garlicky buttery juices.
  5. Slice the duck and serve on top of the beans then pour the soy sauce from the roasting tray over the duck to finish.
